New Teacher Ayako and her student Wakano are in a particularly bad situation; after their school closes due to bankruptcy they are left stranded, almost penniless on a planet extremely far from their native earth. Their chances of getting back to earth under these circumstances don’t seem particularly hopeful. Then the enigmatic Paraila almost kills them when she crash-lands her mecha on top of their school. For her own reasons Paraila decides to join them on their journey to earth. Unfortunately Paraila also happens to be broke.

As the three attempt to travel to Earth their situation goes from bad to worse as they somehow end up among the Galaxy’s most wanted fugitives; wanted by the police who want to question and incarcerate them, and by the criminal underground who seem intent on killing them.

The first two episodes are about a journey to the mars. The now 50 year old Scientific Boys Club decides to built a ship that sails to the Mars on the “Ethereal Current” – a thesis of the wife of a club member which claims that the universe is flooded with Ethereal energy. On this streams they travel to the Mars in order to prove an old theory about channels on the Mars built by Marsians, but there is no life. Many years later, when both theories are considered to be nonsense, a Mars expedition discovers a stone with the inscription “Scientific Boys Club 1954″.The third episode is a funny one about a shrinking experiment. Accidentially they shink Miss China, wo becomes smaller and smaller until they are able to construct a growing machine. The fourth episode is about an experiment to project the Mars by some kind of holographic technology, but also this experiment fails and they produce a fantasy world, built up by their wishes.

An alien lifeform, in the shape of a bell, descends to Earth. Although the entire world’s military hasn’t been able to defeat it, it doesn’t seem like it’s trying to bring anything bad to Earth. Round ‘Bells’ about the size of a small house appear in the normal world, and they adjust themselves to regular life; waiting for a traffic light before crossing the street, waiting in line at the supermarket, and so on.

The students in the Magic User’s Club don’t believe that it’s as innocent as it seems, and the club president goes off, together with his vice-president, and their three new members to defeat this Bell – not to mention that half of the members aren’t even able to fly yet!
